TONY CERDA
Tony Cerda is currently the Tribal Chairman of the Costanoan Rumsen Carmel Tribal Council and is also the key contact for the tribe's Chu Chies Anti-Gang Program. The Anti-Gang Program utilizes a boxing arena in Pomona California and Tony lends his expertise as a former boxer and coach. Look on the wall and you will see the gloves worn and signed by several famous boxers. You will also see pictures of those boxers that Tony has trained like Ricahard Sandoval, (World Bantam Weight Champion). You might also see famous people like United States of America President Jimmy Carter, and California Governor George Deukmejian. Below are some of Tony's notable achevements:

Member of United States Olympic Boxing Selection Committee 1977-1980
Manager of World Bantam Weight Champion, Richard Sandoval 1980-1986

Commission 1996-present appointed to a four year term
Retired Operating Engineer Local 12 of Southern California after 40 years of service
