Plant A Seed, Grow A Tree For America

The Spanish called us "Costanoan" which means "coast people."  We call ourselves "Ohlone" in our language.  Rumsen is the language spoken in one of the five villages in the area of Monterey and Carmel where the Spanish landed.  Thus, we are the Costanoan-Rumsen-Carmel People.
